The Art of the Game Chicago Bulls Exclusive Collection

I was honored to be part of The Art of the Game: Overtime, an immersive art exhibition curated by All Star Press for Bulls Fest 2023. This officially licensed show brough together 16 artists to celebrate the Bulls’ legacy and cultural impact.

My collection captures the grandeur of the game through my lens as a queer, 1.5-generation immigrant. The hero, a queer player, wears a jersey adorned with golden charms, inspired by Nigerian Aso Ebi, a symbol of unity. A backdrop of cosmo flowers reflects grace, resilience, and triumph. Reimagined Air Jordans and a basketball feature the Bulls logo, a swallow, and cosmo flowers—symbols of speed, agility, and victory. This piece celebrates intersectional identity and self-defined greatness.
